Jonas is a newly graduated civil engineer with a degree in construction and environmental technology, from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. He has attended the construction school, specialising in project management. He wrote his masters’ thesis about implementation strategies for wind power plants. While a student at NTNU, he worked as a trainee at the municipality of Stavanger, Block Berge and Norsk Vind Energi. He also spent a semester in the US, where he studied subjects related to project management. Thus, he has already gained skills relevant to several aspects of complex projects, both home and abroad. In addition, Jonas has leadership training from the Army’s training school for non-commissioned officers, the Army armor battalion, which has provided him with practical leadership experience.
Norsk Vind Energi value the combination of leadership, education and a technical engineering degree, and has great faith in Jonas being able to fill the role as assistant project manager, in a professional and suitable capacity.
The Paris Agreement and ISBS, the UN climate panel, have demanded a faster pace in the transition to a low emission society. Norsk Vind AS wishes to be part of the solution and the change of pace towards zero emissions, and are seeking more competent employees.
