New Wind & Site Manager at Norsk Vindenergi

John Amund Lund joins us from a job as Senior Analyst with Meventus AS, and has over eight years’ experience in the development and construction of wind power in Norway.

John Amund Lund joins us from a job as Senior Analyst with Meventus AS, and has over eight years’ experience in the development and construction of wind power in Norway. His expertise is in Wind & Site and wind technology, but he will also strengthen the team in many other areas, such as environmental control, governmental processes, turbine technology and operations. With his focus on the application of CFD modelling in lidar systems, John Amund has taken part in various research projects, both as participant and project manager. The research results have been published at several conferences and in scientific journals, and have contributed to improved accuracy in the computation of production from wind power plants.

John Amund has been a key player in the detailed project planning and construction of the Tellenes wind power plant (160MW). He also has experience from the development of renewable energy in emerging markets, e.g. as project manager for Gori Wind Farm (20MW), the first wind power project implemented in Georgia.

Facebook with historic 15-year wind purchase agreement for the Bjerkreim cluster

Facebook has signed a wind power agreement for the purchase of all electric power for 15 years from the wind cluster developed by Norsk Vind and based in the Stavanger region. Norsk Vind is also the constructor and will operate the wind farm.
