John Amund Lund joins us from a job as Senior Analyst with Meventus AS, and has over eight years’ experience in the development and construction of wind power in Norway. His expertise is in Wind & Site and wind technology, but he will also strengthen the team in many other areas, such as environmental control, governmental processes, turbine technology and operations. With his focus on the application of CFD modelling in lidar systems, John Amund has taken part in various research projects, both as participant and project manager. The research results have been published at several conferences and in scientific journals, and have contributed to improved accuracy in the computation of production from wind power plants.
John Amund has been a key player in the detailed project planning and construction of the Tellenes wind power plant (160MW). He also has experience from the development of renewable energy in emerging markets, e.g. as project manager for Gori Wind Farm (20MW), the first wind power project implemented in Georgia.
Norsk Vind AS, a Norwegian wind project developer, on behalf of Sino-Tan Renewable Energy Ltd is inviting qualified companies to submit a tender for providing legal services for the 100 MW Makambako Wind Power Project in Tanzania.
Two years ago, Egersund had the highest unemployment rate in the country. The historical development of renewable energy around Egersund, the country’s wind power capital, has been a big contributor to turning this trend around.
The Paris Agreement and ISBS, the UN climate panel, have demanded a faster pace in the transition to a low emission society. Norsk Vind AS wishes to be part of the solution and the change of pace towards zero emissions, and are seeking more competent employees.
